what do people think of this new bike Kawasaki zx10r 2011
performance wise i didn like the fact it would not go over 10000 revs, but then thats a Kawasaki and restricted till its run in, and less than 100 miles for the 17 ltr tank but then again i was thrashing it a bit

I think it's awesome but the one you have there is the wrong colour. It needs to be black.

I think I'll not mention that bit to Foxy when we finally get to buying one for me.

What you think of it then, think it'll beat the BMW

well i took the BMW out on track, and it was great easy to ride but in the corners i was till worried it would spit me off.
this one i had a bit more confidence on and the front end was solid, but i was on the road, and as you know the road is nothing co mpared to the track
would i have one (BMW or ZX10) only if i win the lottery
i race an SV so have an SV for the road cause its my next race bike and so on

I agree i prefer the Black one or is it red, cause thats how the paint job is done
the MPG was so low cause it was Brand new, str8 out the box, and i was maxin it every where i could, and that was most of the 200 mile run out
great way to keep bike fit, like skipping lol

Great minds think a like.......depraved ones too so it seems.
I like older Kwaks best......that's because I'm old. Can't be done with all this new techy stuff like wheels etc.

It was, but the rumour I heard today was palms were greased for the outcome to be that. Meant to be hell on at Kawasaki and Bauer Media
Apparently slated in MCN
Which in my book means it's the best bike on the road.
I wouldn't take what those poor excuses for journalists write as gospel. If they wrote black was a dark colour I'd have every reason to disagree with them

Possibly the same way I've got one of those and a Z1000SX booked for two weekends. Running them in for the dealership as demos because I'm one of the few who can be trusted to do it properly and not cane them.

Didnt think it would be as simple as just asking if they wanted their bike ran in?

Its not, I considering being cheeky and asking but decided against.
Most of it is done by people like Jo and Lozzo, people involved or have been the trade.
But some of the dealers don't mind doing it as it means they get to play with a lot of bikes and on works time

It does sound like a dream job and at least they would know that their bikes have been run in properly

Same as Lozzo, the shop owners help me with my Race Bike, i advertise their stuff for them in the Paddock, i organise their ride outs and lead them, work on their Open Days and he trusts me to take the new demo bikes out, run them in to manafacturer recommedations, just a bit of give and take for each, and a whole lotta fun

It is, but your doing a worthwhile job. Its something that I couldn't handle, I have massive respect for people that can do it.
