Looks tidy to me, going with ghostbros to look at it/potentially buy it tomorrow (ooh now it's today). The rear wheel bearings are a possible replacement which the seller has come clean about. Just wondering if there is anything else we should be wary of. Will do the usual checks: pitted forks, fork seals, brake pads, chain and sprocket(s), tyres, headstock if I can test easily, general corrosion and wear and tear, engine running nicely, paperwork.

obviously try to get a test ride, but apart for the normal durables also move the bars through the complete arch of movement and make sure the gap between barend and tank is the same on both sides, check the bottom of both barends for damage as well as the underside of all levers and footpegs/levers, then remove the seat to check the loom where it runs behind the RH side panel, as it's been known to damaged by the bolt, if you get the chance also check the loom where it goes around the headstock as this can rub through as well as removing the pillion seat to check the rear loom over the LH subframe rail ( try to pull it away from the frame rail and see the inside bit).

HTH

Much appreciated for the detailed feedback, I am viewing to SV's today, one from a dealer and another private - might pay the extra cheddar for piece of mind!

Thanks again

No worries, good luck with the search, once you're up and running drop by the Soho meet one friday and say hello (details at the top of that section).

Cheers Mark.

What condition is the Stealer bike in?

If its in similar condition to the one you've linked your talking around £1,800 with a chance of being a trade sale

result mate. 900 about right for a bike in that condition.

Spend the saving giving it a good going over and a tart up
