Haha, that was very good :)
Gd stuff. Nothing like a clear crispy winters day ride.
Rain is bollox to be fair though.
Excellent. Nice to see a council with a sense of humour! A valid point being made too.

I was waiting for a car to pull out with blood and guts everywhere[-o< But the point is subtle, really well made:D

-Ralph- is another slightly older male.
He inhabits the middle England shires, north of Northampton.
An area reknowned for the intelligence displayed by the native species, such a Lady Diana Spencer
Here, unlike Devon they have fewer crystal clear winter days, sporting such clean dry roads.
-Ralph- keeps two motorbikes, one suited to that sporty summer road riding, and another off road bike more suited to "Green Laning", a more rugged and muddy method of exploring the countryside.
Now, in the depths of Winter, his road bike has indeed been groomed, read a bedtime story, and tucked away to hibernate.
The off road bike is much better suited to roads in Northamptonshire, during the dead of winter.
-Ralph-, being a species who very much enjoys green laning, is often hit with waves of excitement during winter, when it often seems that he has found an endless network of muddy, slimely, gravelly green lanes to explore, but alas, he soon realises, that this is simply the same network of country roads, that would be covered in clean, grippy tarmac, during the summer season.
-Ralph- looks forward to the start of spring, when the roads are once again dry and clean, and it is at this time, his sporty road bike, will finally wake from it's winter slumber.
-Ralph- doesn't think any less of those who only ride in the summer however, many have neither the means nor the space for two motorbikes, and he knows how it feels to see the tarnish on the bikes finish, following winter rides, when after only 50 miles, it ends up looking like this.

You know Ralphy boy people would think you loved your bike with the amount of pictures you post of it on this forum...
All I want to know is where do you talk about your wife? :)
Good one! Enjoyed that:cool:

Think you must have me confused with someone else mate, other than the thread I posted when I bought it, which was a library picture 'cos I didn't have it yet, and my avatar, I don't think I've put any pics of the Daytona on the forum.
And I always talk about my wife, just that most of it is derogatory :p
Still, to show devotion to my beautiful wife and child, I've changed my avatar. How's that? ;-)

With your reputation, I'm not sure I should answer that question, you might appear one dark evening ;)

Is it just some mad perversion I have that I love bikes looking like that?
I love the look of the 24hr du mans cars at the end too when they're scraped and covered in bugs and such, or the dakar bikes and cars when they've got 2" of sand on them :smt040

Just joshing everyone to their own mines always semi clean. I know the appeal of the ran le mans cars and rally cars I'm attracted to the look of the war wounds, a crashed F1 car looks like a bust white good TBH
