There's a couple of possibilities in your line of work. It's a classic way to catch someone who's rifling through pockets stealing things. I have a vague recollection that the SOCOs used to use if for something too, but I can't remember what.

Looking at the distribution I'd say you've been using the powder rather than a solution. So you're not being treated for ringworm.

You're not famous for practical jokes, so you've not been putting it in anyone's underwear for the 'purple dong' treatment.

Apart from developing fingerprints and catching thieves I can't think of any other uses for it.

The ones I used to use had red dye in them and turned you a lovely shade of pink if it went off :mad: and it took ages to get off!
