What about one of these?

:-D Ok so these may be common knowledge but I've not seen one before :smt040 And probably a daft question but would it be possible to drag one of these without the sidecar outfit or is that what stabilises it? No don't want one but an amusing concept...be good for the dog
Apparently, it is perfectly possible (and allowed) to tow from a motorcycle, but as you say I think it'd be a bit more stable with a chair perhaps

Mad idea! Can you fit 3 in that? (rider/pillion/chair) I guess you would need to be good friends :D
As to going without sidecar, shouldn't be a problem. You see plenty of Goldwings with a trailer and they don't seem to have a problem. The tow connection is a standard 50mm ball that allows plenty of roll movement.

Ah yes but Goldwings are just cars on two wheels, I mean properly normal two-wheelers :D

I recall seeing one at the Dalesman rally in Ayesgarth a few years back....how the hell they got it in and out of the field was beyond me.....the entrance was steeper and stonier than your drive!!
I asked many years ago abotu a towbar on an SV (Back in the old forum types days) It was a fun wind up

......and no Peg won't be getting Chris to engineer a tow bar for the bus!
sidecars, bloody hate 'em. All the downsides, no leaning in bends and no shelter from the weather. Booooo.
My solution....A Ford Transit with a towbar! :-) Load the bike and BBQ into the van, hitch up the caravan, then off to the nearest race track. Oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
Yes you can tow a trailer behind a bike, but I believe the maximum width of the trailer is determined by the maximum width of the bike, so you're OK on outfits and Goldwings. I think that type of trailer is too wide to be used behind the GSX without the sidecar, if what I was told was true.

Yeah I believe you can carry a pillion and monkey at same time. Not sure you'd all fit in the trailer though!
Define "plenty" of roll movement. Trailer towing knee down anyone? :smt040

But how cool would it be to stick some lights on an F1 sidecar outfit for razzing about on?
