Not on Valentines may I add.
I did it the next night cause we were out for a nice meal and an evening of enterainment with Gruff Rhys...
Starting to wonder what I get for my money if I bought bits for the bike I could see the improvement in performance... :)
Na really I'm happy about the situation...

Aye I she deserves it for long service... its only taken me 13 years to actually get round to asking...
Being honest it was worse asking her Dad for permission I chickened out 3 times before I put myself in a situation where I couldn't not ask...
I love her to bits but right now I'm shell shocked...

congrats dude, i know what you mean with the asking the dad bit!
I get on really well with my Mrs dad, and i have never been in a position that i have struggled to speak, or not known what do say, i can happily stand up infront of large goups of people and hold presentations......but asking a simple question with someone i see all the time and get on with really well........
"um.......hi......i......i......urrrrm........i need to........urrrmmmm......i need to ask you something..........."
Hands start getting clammy!!!!

welcome to the darkside my friend,
so youve upgraded her from "her indoors says" to " the bloody wife says"
now enjoy the wedding orginisation, soon you will understand the intricate and very dangerous method to "the seating plan" ,or worse "which center peices"
tbh the best bit about finaly being married is not having to orginise a wedding
congrates to you both
and her especially for finally earning her ls&gc wedding

No date set yet... It also won't be a contender for wedding of the year, the both of us would quite happily just have our emidiate family and very close friends at the ceremony and go for a nice meal (won't go down well with a lot of people) we could then have a wedding reception for everyone when we come back from the honeymoon.
thanks for the thanks everyone...

That's fair enough mate. As for upsetting other people that's their problem, it's your wedding not theirs!
