View Full Version : Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa scrubs for sale
I have several of the above tyres for sale 17" 160 rears and 120 fronts suitable for trackdays, part used scrubs.
These are now very pricey tyres but have great stickability, suitable for minitwins or 400s. They have plenty of tread left and we would use them ourselves except we have now gone onto Michelin Power ones.
Priced:
rear £35
front £30
plus postage
grab some bargain race tyres.
Have 5 sets to sell, all with good tread levels for road or track. One set gone already!
Hi Coxxy
Tried sending a pm but it won't let me :)
I'll have a 160 rear off you please, how much including postage, I can get a courier to collect if its more convenient, payment by paypal ok?
I got a bloody puncture today and I cannot afford another £170 for rear, it'd only done 1000 miles :smt101
Been a Lurker on here for ages, thought I'd better sign up.
Cheers

am i right in saying these can be fitted to an SV650?
are they okay to use on the road?
and how much tread is left?
yes these are road legal. Scrubs are raced tyres where most wear is towards the outer edge. Tread left is 3 - 4mm, plenty for a summer of riding on the road with extra grip.
These are selling as we speak.............and yes they are raced on an sv650 minitwin

yes these tyres have at least 3 - 4mm tread left on them and we have started selling them to hard up racers too. I will post postage charges on here tomorrow as to ship two tyres is easy enough but I havent done this since last summer. Watch this space guys.

How'd you want paying for them providing postage isn't fifty quid... :)
Right, postage charges for these tyres are £22 for 100 mile distance 1 day delivery. This is based on their weight with packaging of 10KG. Payment can be either paypal to my email address, cash on collection or send a cheque in the post.
I will also put some on ebay soon as i have lots of fronts to sell on their own.
Hope this helps

Parcelforce do them for £13.99 a pair for 48 hour delivery and parcels to go do them for a tenner a pair.

Berlin, to you postage is now £100 each tyre!
Can't quite understand your point mate - you calling me a liar? The prices are from London to Cambridge (100 miles) as a guide. 1 Day is £21.59 and 2 days £16.79 with a parcel weight of 10KG - straight off the parcel force website. Sometimes people like you should keep your self out of other peoples business. I am offering excellent quality Pirelli scrubs at a cheap price of £60 per pair which have cost £265.
I have sold 3 pairs already to entirely satisfied hard up racers who have not quibbled over the price of the postage which I have made no profit on.
Butt out buddy.
SV org at its very worst!
FYI
The Michelin Power one rear has also sold and postage charged was £5 ( a small loss of £5)
Woh Cowboy! Wind your neck in! :)
You offered a 24 hour postage rate. I put up what I've paid three times in the last month for shipping a set of tyres as a parcelforce 48 hour option and also what Parcels to go charged for the last set of the exact same tyres, that was picked up. Simply as a cheaper alternative. If the post office have changed the rate in the last 7 days I apologise.
I'm sure that your tyres are fantastic and I never suggested otherwise. I was simply trying to help you and your potential customers get better value. I had no wish to insult, cause controversey, call you a liar or any other such effect.
I was simply trying to help out the collective org.

I think you will find the point is in saving the buyer postage, no extra work for you, just use a cheaper option as quoted. Dont you think £10 postage is nicer than £22??
thanks for the apology.
The postage is what it is. This is London. For your own input, I wouldnt dream of affecting other sales on this forum with unsolicited comments and these tyres are already helping riders who want sticky summer rubber. i'm not a rip off merchant and have several riders wanting these tyres.
Cant believe a sale so simple has these consequences.
Stop being a bloody drama queen!

Nice. The only drama here is whether you have yet learned the art of acceptance in shutting up - probably not i'd guess?

You choose your selling options, fair play, cant understand what This is London has to do with the postage costs, even simple people know postage costs are the same all over the counrty. As I said, £10 postage is nicer than £22. If a member of the forum can offer a cheaper way of doing something, most people would take this as a nice gesture instead of going on and getting into a hissy fit about it.

Listen you muppet! I'm sitting here with a load of scrubs ready to sell and I'm letting you get rid of yours before I post them so you don't have any competition and I don't step on your toes. I'm doing you a favour.
Just get on and sell your bloomin tyres.
C
That makes you a bit of a charity case then? thanks
For the rest of the sensible majority I have almost sold all rears and have mostly fronts available for now.
Got another 2 sets available next weekend (3rd/4th) and another 2 sets after Easter weekend (BSB at Brands). These will be the latest tyres so I am open to offers at the above rates. Can get them to you reasonably quickly.
Best thing is to PM me as you have been and I will get them out on a first come basis.

ok, three of these sets booked, one set left.
Fronts available
So I've just come back from the post office.
Shipping for a set of Supercorsa's is £13.99 by parcelforce 48. The price you get in the post office is cheaper than the Web price.
And as of 10 seconds ago. parcel2go.com are offing to ship a set of SC tyres for £5.95+VAT on a 48 hours service with home delivery network.
Dimentions for a set of Supercorsas are 63 x 63 x 27 and weigh 9 kg.
So thast the record straight.
If you charged them more than this you need to give them a refund. ;)
PS, Parcelforce is going up fractionally on Monday.
off to pick the fluff out of my belly button...

thanks for the apology.
I withdraw the above apology. ;)
So erm... that means you owe me one. ;)

How much is postage for two sets? :smt064
Teejay,Thanks for all the interest - better get racing as running out of rubber. At the moment I am almost sold up so will not quote any more postage prices. I would tend to send them in pairs as they get quite lumpy to package otherwise. Checkout Parcelforce uk website for a guide - the quicker the more expensive. Todays set went express 48 but will arrive next weds (3 working days - dont get that one?) weight was 9.6kg and cost £13.35.
These tyres are recommended for back to mid pack racing, trackdays or road use - Berlin might like some for his post van?. They have been used for one qualifying session, rear x 3 races = 20 laps, front x 3 races = 20 laps and judging by the wear have 3 - 4mm tread on the peak section with no flat profiling so plenty of use left. Thats 4 heat cycles only.
The reason we are selling is to offset their exhorbitant cost by using them relatively less than tyre life to still have value in use for purchasers. Suspension is now well set up so no cold tearing just normal surface abrasion patterns.
We run these tyres at 31 psi front hot, 29 psi rear hot and they grip like crap to a toilet bowl wall. Have moved from the dicky Michelin Power ones and got results immediately at Snetterton 300 this weekend setting best lap time of 2.04secs. This will fall lower to around 2.01 in the summer.
Any minitwin questions in this area happy to help out as have suffered nearly all the usual problems in the last 3 years of MRO minitwins racing.

I'm confused, opening post "we would use them ourselves except we have now gone onto Michelin Power ones."

Or did I miss something in the middle
yes you did but not explained here. When the thread began several weeks ago we had decided to test and race the Michelins but lost confidence in them after a low front induced slide in the cold. Back to Pirellis on the second day brought results so now we are just selling off our more recently used Pirellis anyway.
Oi! Where's me apology? ;)

Would be happy to help you out mate but as the thread started I got several members booking sets and have those to fulfill first. We have added further trackdays to our BSB build up plans so these will become available later this week. You are in a bit of a queue though.
Coxxy, grow a pair will ya! ;)

Someone will get a nice pair soon enough..............perhaps the pair that smashed the all time minitwin lap record at Cadwell yesterday. From 1.38.48 to 1.37.9s.
These Pirellis are **** hot lads................................prices might have to go up soon?

Thanks Steve, glad it was ok . We aim to please at shareyourrubber.com. As our company has expanded recently we have taken on more staff in the advertising and PR department (see above) and sales have really taken off so I am glad we have met your expectations.
As soon as we are finished at Brands this week and next we will have another 2 sets waiting in the despatch area of our stock room for the next customers.
All we need now is to keep an eye on thumb sucker one and two above (Pat and his trusty dog) and ensure they keep this lively and lucrative thread alive some more.

Keep the chit chatand stupid remarks to a minimum and can I remind you that
1. unsolicited advice on prices whether for the goods or postage is against for sale section rules
2. Insulting other users is also against forum rules.
So keep it up guys and I'll start dishing out infractions like sweets at halloween!
All I want is an apology from Danny La Ru with the sequin leathers there and it'll all be over. ;)

Hey dirty dog, thanks for the advice and I aim to please all forum members if I can. I really humbly apologise to you if this melee has upset you in any way but I only really started out to sell some tyres at rock bottom prices then it seems to have got personal for some reason - is this normal behaviour?
The latest missive is some coded personal message from berlin to my inbox - not sure what it means - and a text message from an unknown mobile threatening death by rubber ingestion?! I called the number but all I could hear was a postman pat album playing in the background, some heavy breathing and a small dog yapping in the background. Is this a sign that someone is suffering from POST sv org syndrome and has suffered a breakdown? Or maybe over worry about a wobbly wheel on his van - I could help out there (could be a dodgy tyre, one of those nasty Michelins?)
Today we had another great day at Brands and created another set of scrubs which seem to be selling like hotcakes. Thanks for all the positive stuff guys - it seems we havent had so much fun in ages!
regards

Hey Berly/Carl, oh sorry, Bill, bill! Calm down, calm down. You just popped a core plug mate........? [-X
Deep breath, deep breath.
There, see.........................it was just a joke mate, just a joke (you like a good wind up mate. No drama in that is there mate? No need to get all POST traumatic is there? Mate?
This is a tyre selling thread after all!
Look, go back to your racing in the North east paddock where you seem to have a reputation for riding at least as fast as 7 seconds off the pace will allow you - I could sell you some of my tyres + postage of course (could you collect them in your van?); give you some more advice about your riding style and thread behaviour, you'd be fine.
You'd have to lose that label you have gained for yourself up there though or we couldnt meet up. It starts with a male cow, ends with something sounding like 'IT' then add your name above, easy to work out. We could also get rid of that silly orange bib - must be confusing for those postal customers of yours each day?
Guys on here think you have been taught a bit of a lesson mate.
Bye!
