I know it's a way off yet, but one of my clients is trying to steal my weekends, so I need to start lining stuff up.

Anyone going for a ride in the Thames Valley area on the first Sunday in April, perhaps in the Henley area? No heroics, etc.

I voted yes, as in I have no plans at the mo.

Am about to book a weekend in Scotland, so if that clashes it'll be a "no" I'm afraid!

Almost certainly. Just need to sort something with Interflora, what with it being mothers day and all.

Well with mother being a couple of hundred miles away, I think I'm safe so long as I don't forget the card. :-)

OK not quite Scotland, but am off to sunny Devon.:sunny::cool:

Si, it would have been good to see you, as well as any others that go.

I'll also be absent from tonight's meet at the Shire, but going by the fact no-one has kicked off a thread about that, I'm guessing no-one will be going?

Unless anyone has got a pair of rear calliper brake pad retaining pins for a YZF I won't be going anywhere either. £37 for each one. With redundancy looming in 8 days, I can't afford to replace them.

I'm moving at the end of the month. After that I'll be attending the Shire meets. Hopefully people will crawl out of the woodwork or from under their stones and make the meets. We will soon be getting to TVSF camping territory.

Ha ha, I thought you'd like that Tony! Well up for a spot of motorbike based camping this year!

So where are you moving to Simon?

We'll all hold you to that now Phil, it'll be 6th August 2071 so put it in your diary!

Simon's bike may be back on the road then too! ;)

Well my bike is not on the road at the moment and not likely to be. It's tucked away in the garage of the new house. Needs new clutch, front brake overhaul (new pistons and seals) and I have no rear brake at the moment.

I am (unsurprisingly) out for this. Looks like I will have to do the unpacking afterall.

So where do you live now? Depending on where it is we could move the TVSF "for one night only"?

Couldn't we?

Amesbury. Well as of Tomorrow night. So still not exactly what you would call close to the Shire. 50 odd miles away. :-)

I've just checked the map. Make that 65 miles.

Just been past the Dorchester junction, the flowers are in full bloom.

Saw they'd brought in a 40 limit for that stretch. Fair enough.

Thanks.

Think you can probably un-sticky this now.

Hopefully we'll get a better turnout next year.
