right it seems nigh on imposible to find an orginal sv thou naked top yoke ,and with my orginal idea i cant use the comfort kit (no clock bracket connections)
so im fecking off my orginal idea and open to others
not the standard gsxr fork conversion
so what do you think
a drz front end
a apprila turno front end
i want it naked so take that into account
no stupid 22 grand moto gp forks ligit ideas only people

a apprila turno front end
oi thats my thing get stuffed
( you have to weld the sv stem in to the yoke or have a new one made) also front wheels are lacking and brake parts are a pita to get (brembo wont sell to the uk)
i would have said ohlins RSV forks but they bottom axle clamps crack ...

Making a clock bracket is a piece of pish. And if you're not bothered about height then leave the clip-ons on and then you will definitely have a new look - cafe racer sv thou :D

Why dont ya just slap some shiny usd forks on it and a fancy top yoke? Job done and your out on it again?
I got my Brembo stuff from: http://www.gear4offroad.co.uk/ no minimal order. As for the Ohlins forks, never heard about any problems with them :smt017
As for a fancy front end...

Hammerhead trike?
No not an MP3 like above - more Can-am Spyder...

As said, might help with the falling off thing - with the stabilisers above that would be 5 wheels...

there were a few posts on rsvzone but after the forum when down are no longer there, ohh and just seen the price for a new set of ohlins (just the legs) £2.5k
I troll a bit on ridersite, af1 and apriliaperformance, and to be honest this is the first time I've heard about it.
What was the cause? Heavy landings?

not that i know off, its because ohlins made the axle clamp thinner than the showa version and a few hairline fractured, if theres nothing on af1 about it then i doubt its a problem
Dunno to be honest... worth investigating if someone fancies an upgrade :/

Fitting a BMW Duolever front end onto an SV650 would be an interesting challenge, and certainly unique...
