Whoever it was, well done on good road position for the bend, helped out with avoiding any problem. However, why the horn? Where else did you think the truck would be able to go on such a narrow road?

Last video on there is mental!! Bet he's well glad he had a helmet cam on!
And the mostly commonly used phrase ever...
"sorry.... I didn't see you"
Second video, some good spacial awareness and quick reactions. Nice to see another care driver asks if he's ok too!

Think he did well to control his temper to be fair too!

Proves that there is some nuggets on the road.
The guy in the smart (not so) was almost taken out by the car in front. But also proves there some good drivers on the road.

Very true sir. I think most of us, myself included would have been right up beside them shouting the odds.

AYE to be fair ive dont this twice now when people have missed me by mm. ive pulled up along side them and said "excuse me that aws a bit close, any chance of you looking next time" to get a load of **** *** ** *** *** ***** etc :)
They guy who nearly got took out by the TVR needs to learn how to filter. Undertaking a sports car with limited rear visibility who is indicating left (and has been for some time) is asking for trouble.

Yeah you kind of give up the right to whinge about "sorry mate I didn't see you" when you put yourself in a position where it is impossible to be seen.

A couple of those riders sure don't do themselves any favours. The guy who gets hit by the van - looks like the vans reverse lights are on when he rounds the corner, and the van appears to be reversing well before he pulls up behind it -not really surprising he got hit. Not saying the van guy was without blame, but I sure wouldn't have put myself in that spot on a bike.

& most TVRs are nearly as loud as YC's bike so wouldn't hear you either.

cant see as still at work but hope one of them isnt speedplays vid of the peaks ride out
Didn't realise there are another 2 incidents in that video. All 3 of them the biker is going way to fast for the situation, in the second one he's just dangerous.
video 1, 2 to a certain extent and the last one are pretty much unavoidable. The other are just bad riding, bad attitude and bad observations.

The near miss with the van on the narrow road when he cut the corner a bit, good road positioning as mike said, but if the van is on a narrow road going round a tight blind corner, he should have slowed right down IMO, a car in the same space as the bike would have resulted in a collision.
I also agree with a few of you regarding the tvr vid, the tvr was indicating for ages, so you can't complain when he eventually pulls across your path, even though indicating doesn't give you permission to do what you like, the bike was in the wrong IMO .

First thought about that 5th video was that the biker was a kn0b. Especially in the first incident, the car is signalling left when the bikers still 3 or 4 cars back.

Technically he had right of way, but you'd be daft to put yoursen in that position.
Here lies the body of Solomon Grey etc etc

+1 - I was thinking that myself. The van was as close to the side as possible without clouting trees/bushes.
I think these videos do more to show the bikers riding to be at fault to be honest. In most of these situations you could see it coming and should take account of that in your riding.
Hands up, I nearly knocked a guy off his bike the other day when on my way home in a Transit. It has no rear view mirror having a rear bulkhead, only wing mirrors. I consider myself to be pretty observant and obviously am aware of bikes around me. I saw a bike a long way behind me in the distance, what seemed like milliseconds later he had approached in my blind spot right behind the van. We both made a move to switch lanes at the same time and I can honestly say I didnt notice him at all, I made an apologetic wave but lets face it, its pretty easy to make a mistake like that.
Right or wrong the other guy would have been worse off than me.

Thought exactly the same on both counts - if he hadn't I bet the van driver would have been claiming whiplash after a biker ran into the back of him.

The ******* in the smart car on the second video is the kind of driver I hate. He or She clearly didn't give a damn at all.

Yeh the second video was the one that i thought, i'd be up next to the bloke knocking on his window asking him what the hell he's playing at!
2 things come to mind, 3 days in London with Rictus. And the time i was riding from Preston to Harrogate on i belive the A59 with DavePreston. Both incidents i've had whilst out with these 2 are similair to some of this stuff. Usual muppets on the road.
