Can any one explain how to do this? The standard indies are hugs and i don't like like but they fit in an odd way and secondly i notice Suzuki have used a special connector, is there some sort of adaptor?
Thanks guys

Undo the indicator connectors and remove the lower fairings. Undo the bolt on each indie and replace with new. Go to a motor factors and get a suitable set of connectors, i used push together insulated bullet connectors that crimp onto the cables. I dont know if there is a genuine style replacement connector but if you cut the connector off the original indies you can use straight thru crimp connectors. My wires had already been cut with no original connectors there.

How do i cover the massive hole to accomodate the smaller thread on micro indicators, i already have Micros on the back just looks odd.

There is a plate that the indies bolt too, they just stick through the hole.

I don't have that plate, its missing on both, can i use those aftermarket ones seen around?

So how are the originals attached? The pear shaped bracket clamps a piece of plastic to the fairing which the indie bolts to

They go through the fairing and then have like 2 tabs folded up over the fairing fixing points and then bolted through there. Been bodged i think

You need a set of indy spacers, you can pick them up from Hein Gericke for less than a tenner. They're basically two flat plastic pieces that fit into the big hole in the fairing left by where the huge standard indicators go. One goes on the front, one goes behind. The new smaller indicators bolt through the spacer on the outside, the fairing and the spacer on the inside.
You can fit them without spacers but it looks a bit naff as you end up with a hole around the new indicator, and it's a bit wobbly as I found! The spacers secure them better and make it look a lot better, which is what you want really if you're fitting smaller indicators.

Mine are attached to the back without the spacer. I aint bothered about how far they stick out, they work :)
The standard front indicator is shaped to fit the fairing hole and is fixed in place with that pear shaped bracket. I can't see how you would fit standard mini indies to the front of the standard bike without some form of modification. The washers indicated on the robinsons foundry fiche are for the rear.
To bridge the hole in the fairing you can use these (http://www.bidsforbikes.co.uk/indicators-spacer---suzuki-bandit-sv650s---00-772-p.asp). I made my own out of a piece of aluminium which I then painted black. I then put two bolts on the indicator - one inside the fairing and one outside - to space the short stem indicator out a bit. You can get long stem indies that would do the job fine as is.
For the wiring, most mini indies seem to come with male bullet connectors so you can either cut the connector off the bike side and crimp on some female bullet connectors or, if you want "plug & play" plus the chance to return to standard, you can use these (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MOTORCYCLE-INDICATOR-BLACK-CONNECTOR-LEADS-FITS-SUZUKI-/130419503057?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item1e5d9bafd1).
