Right i have a 99 Sv650 with a blueflame can, I bought the bike with the can on, unfortunately it is a high rise can. Now I didnt think this was a problem until my lass decided she wanted to get on the back!

I have the original foot pegs but need a link pipe to make the can standard height. I have checked Ebay and there dosent seem to be anything specific.

Has anyone got any ideas?
I live in huddersfield west yorkshire,

Cheers in advance guys
Steve

Space the pillion foot pegs out so they don't foul on the can.
There's two 30mm spacers sandwiched between the footpeg and bike.
I had to space mine out 70mm to clear the can using spacers I made myself and longer bolts.

I used longer bolts & made some spacers. The peg just misses the can then :) This is the only pic I can find, but it shows the rear peg fitted on.

Here's how I mounted my can so I could still use the pillion pegs (which are not on the bike at the moment).
It's a stainless steel bracket I knocked up at work mounted to the luggage rail underneath the pillion seat with two m6 stainless steel nuts and bolts. Banditmania sell something similar for £20.00!!!
Could knock one up for you if you wanted? Just need the distance from the center of the luggage rail to the center of the hole in the hanging strap.

If you're in Hudds then you're not far from Beowulf, they should have a link pipe.
