Did my standard Sunday leisure route today- Surbiton to Newlands Corner to Boxhill and home again via the backroads and Epsom.

Haven't been out riding just for riding's sake in AAAAges. It was so nice to get out and not have to be going to or from anywhere or in any particular time.

The roads were relatively quiet (though often stuck behind the slow car!), got to take in the views at Newlands and the obligatory coffee and chips at Rykers ('cos Newlands coffee is awful!), plus listening to all those lovely engines!!

I've missed it and it's a great way to bust the doldrums.

Roll on the summer- the bike's not JUST for commuting!!

Am back in love with riding again. Hooray for that!

Nice!

I had a big smile on my face for most of the ride (when I wasn't swearing good naturedly about the slowest of drivers...)

hmmmph lucky you lot, I not been out to play since October 31st for a decent ride....can't count 15 miles as a pleasure ride!:(

I shall be changing this rather soon!

128 miles today, in the company of other Sv's

Cold but mostly dry roads, although a couple of moments on mud strewn back roads

Apart from the ride there & the ride back, it was pretty good

Just a bit warmer next time. Will someone kindly turn the thermostat up please :smt101

I've been out lots over the winter, not always pleasurable, but the weather is making it more fun.

The other day, I went out for an hour into the Cheshire lanes. I cam home to find I had killed every single millimeter of the chicken strips on the rear tyre. Never done that before!

We went up to Rivington Pike today. Not the barn end, too many ar$eholes on bikes they can't ride, but to the quarry end. Up onto the moors. Blue sky for as far as you can see.

Wonderfull.

Pete ;)

Was pleasurable as a wasn't sliding into corners coated in water and diesel
