Has anyone made it themselves? Got any hints or a 'how to' guide?
Cost us £8.50 for 100 grams at the weekend and i fancy giving it a go myself.
Thanks
Si.
Go to charity shop, buy cheap leather shoes, eat leather.
Foul stuff. :D

Have a look at http://www.biltongbox.com/biltong.html
Not tried it, have a bad habit of eating steak raw anyway. I'd probably just eat it now rather than wait a week to cure it....

One of my mates has recently married a lass from ZA, so I'm sure he'll be doing a spot of smoking before long. I'll ask if he's had any success.

Correction - he's already made a Biltong box and has been enjoying the fruits of his labours. I'll get all the details tomorrow.
