it was just the surround bit. here's one on ebay just now, although it is a bit damaged.

maybe put up a post in the wanted section here, i'm sure someone will have a spare one of these somewhere.

Hmmmm, i am right in thinking the surround from Suzuki comes with the clear covers for the clocks as this is what is cracked.

if i buy just the glass how do i change the rubber seal around it, it looks as if it is bonded on

The glass is part of the clocks, nothing to do with the plastic surround.

How easy is it to change?

On robinson foundry it lists the glass as part of the visor assembly, if i was to buy a 3" clock glass are they easily changeable or do they need sealing if so how or what with?

Looks like you're the first to attempt this, post up how you did it?

The glass must be bonded to the rev counter with some sort of sealant. So my first job would be to see how its attached

I will once i get round to looking, funny thing is on the exploded view at Suzuki they are shown seperate to the clock body.

There must be a way to change the glass, as they can change the speedo facia from Km to Miles can't they?

PM Spannerman, he might have some ideas, he's not often on here, but he is a proper bike mechanic

Even cheaper:
Buy a 300ml carton of cream.
Give cream to cat & kick it out before it's sick.
Clear plastic lid is just right & not brittle.
Total cost ~£1

Summit wrong with your cat Puny especially if its sick after cream! I'd rather spend a whole £3 and get a proper piece of glass
