I test rode 1 at the NEC in 2008 and had to have one, they are that good, even though I had never spent more than 2 grand on a bike before.
Test rode loads of bikes to try and talk myself out if it but none came close to the Street Triple.
She's a great bike, the best bike I have ever owned in fact, I will defo miss her.
Well, already had one offer but not enough to sell her.
Might be interested as am thinking of something more sensible for touring. Need to test ride one first but where are you based?
To get better exposure why not advertise it in the Triumphtorque.com and Pistonheads.com websites, both free. A mate recently sold his Tiger that way.

At that price I'm not surprised !
I sold my '08 one, more mileage, for £5,500 last November !
One near me for £5,500 on a 10 plate with 2k so you sold for a good price!

I know, I know its taken me a while to ponder over it but I have to look at it as over £4K sat in the garage thats only used to go to the local bike meet and sunny days when I aint being nagged to do housework instead.
My trackbike gets more use and there's no way I would use the Triumph as a trackbike its too nice.
And I could really do with a van instead of scrounging lifts to get my bike to the track.

Barring putting the money in my hand it looks like its sold. Even had someone from Sweden after it.
If only selling my car was as easy.
If you're not getting time to use it you're doing right to sell - its a lot of money to be sitting in a garage depreciating, you wont regret it - well done

Well money has changed hands and its in the back of a van on its way to Sheffield.
Looks like I'll have to get the other SV road worthy for the occassional jaunt
