Hi all,

Not been around on here for a while as I just haven't had time. Disappointingly, I'm having to put my bike up for sale.

I bought it from a friend a couple of years ago and it's been well looked after by me, as it was by him. For those who've been on here a bit, this was the bike that was swapped plastics and clocks on Liam Simpson's sv650 stripped and being cleaned/polished (http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=137997) thread.

Actual mileage is 18,813, clocks read 24,297 as there was a difference of 5484 when we swapped front ends. Will continue to rise at around 120-150 miles per week.

It has been well looked after mechanically by myself and provided me with many miles of trouble free riding, as it will the next person. I restricted it at the point of buying, making more than half of the mileage done under restriction. I've never hammered it, as it's my only source of transport, restriction was removed in January.

2000 w reg.
Mileage 18813.
Tyres Avon Storm Ultra 2 - not sure how many miles on them (can work out if required) but they've a hell of a lot of miles left on them, as the bulk have been slow miles.
In the last year it's had tyres replaced, chain and sprockets, front and rear caliper rebuilds, new pads, carbs stripped and cleaned, full brake system bleed.
Oil and filter changed every 2500.

Eyup! How's it going?

All that waiting is nearly over eh? Hope Abi has been well through it? Karina is not that well with the pregnancy, so needs must, I am selling so we can get a car. Also, I now do full time hours over 3 days so I've more than doubled my time off for spending with Karina, Autumn and baby Cedar when he arrives in May (providing he's not early), we got a black lab in November too, so a cage is going to be more practical all round. Shame really, as I'd have plenty more days for pleasure riding. :(

Hopefully I'll get something old to rebuild/restore with all that extra time on my hands.

Let me know when you're next over this way or pm me your address, as we have that baby wrap for you - the fabric came through bottle green rather than forest green, but if you don't like it, we can sort another colour out.
