What gave the impression I was a guitarist?

True it is, I was just wondering where the conclusion that I was a guitarist came from.

I assumed as you were reading the thread... Does mention Paul Reed Smith as "guitar luthier extraordinaire".

Then again, as they say, assumptions the mother of all F-ups ;)

And I was just being a language nazi over your use of "are a guitarist" rather than "were a guitarist"

And I actually asked cos I was interested in you telling me who he is and why you rate hom so highly, mainly because you would probably link to something very impressive.

But no, not a guitarist :p

Historically, in electric guitar making there was Fender and Gibson. Then everyone else.

Then Paul Reed Smith turned up and now we have Fender, Gibson, Paul Reed Smith, then everyone else.

Personally, I'm not that bothered about owning one (though they are amazing guitars), but I have much respect for Mr PRS' passion and dedication to guitar making. He really has made a BIG difference.
