Maybe I'm just more in touch with my feminine side right now, or heading towards the timidity of old age - just look at Tim of the Wilky, a quiet unassuming guy.

Are people going through the SADS? Wish I had a £1 for everytime someone has growled at me in the last week.

STOP PICKING ON ME!:smt016

Oi why bring me into your sad life. I am happy the roof is going on as I type, the scaffolding will be down by the end of the week and I will be able to play out.

Edit, it is hard work keeping up with the coffee and bacon/egg butty requirements of these guys. But best keep the sweet.

BTW the sun is shinning on the nice side of the hill.

I have a daylight lamp so it's not me:D

This is always my fave time of year - spring almost here, daffies in flower even here in cold Shropshire, days getting longer. Grippy tarmac and nice bends:D I lie in bed at 6am in the morning with the window open, listening to the woodpeckers in the trees just beyond the field behind us, da-da-da-da-da-da, and the mistle thrush singing his heart out. I was in the garden till 7pm this evening, just about enough light to see what I was doing, with a fine view of Long Mountain, Middletown Hill, and Rodney's Pillar, between us and Welshpool. All that promise:D

Git!

We have daylight bulbs in the lamps In the living room. My shifts over winter kill me. No daylight for a week during nights makes pete a sad boy...

This time of year is awesome though! We were home in herefordshire this weekend, Ludlow on Saturday, up in the woods above Ludlow today, clear skies, warm sun, happy days.

Pete ;)

I've been really lucky this winter to be working mostly dayshifts but normally I struggle as well with the lack of daylight, never thought about getting daylight bulbs though....good idea!

aha, do they work?, i take it there is no difference in the light you see, more meant to affect your mood and stop you turning psycho.

The light is very white as opposed to the warm yellow light you normally get. It's colour temp. Is close to that of sunlight. I like them, works for me.

Some of the guys at work went for the full monty (a lot cheaper than here through some trial thing): http://shop.philips.com/store/rpeeub2c/en_GB/DisplayProductDetailsPage/productID.168464400

These things will wake you up with this light and they are portable so you can take them to work to go on the desk....looks wierd if you ask me...all these people with a blue glow on them  They say it helps though...who can really tell though, they were miserable before and still are!
