Evening all,
I'm selling my K7 V-Strom 650 (1st reg 27 July 06). I bought it in late 2009 after previously having had two SV's, intending to do some serious touring but since then my business travel has gone ballistic and it'd be divorce proceedings if I went off touring. I serviced it in July last year and have only done 100 odd miles since then (about half of them in a last pre-sale blast yesterday, which I really enjoyed and nearly changed my mind about selling). Now has 14786 miles on the clock.
It's taxed until the end of the year and MOT'd until late July. It's always been garaged at night and I've done very little winter riding on it. It runs sweet as anything and, as you can see in the photos, is in really good condition.Quite a few extras included:
- Full set of luggage: 48 L colour-coded top box with givi panniers.
- Engine protection bars
- Heated grips with variable temperature control, hand guards
- Pyramid belly pan and Mudguard extender
- Headlamp protectors and uprated headlamp bulbs (about 50% brighter)
- Spare suspension links - ones fitted are for about 25mm lower ride height, standard ones included as spares.
There are two sets of keys, the original tool kit and all relevant documents even including the brochure when from when it was bought new. Chain, sprockets and tyres are all in good shape so it’s all ready for someone to have a great 2011 season on (only wish that was me!). If you're looking for something that's really well suited to long distances, but still has the great engine of the SV, this is ideal.
