Our landlords have divorced and soon to be weekend dad has decided he'd like to live in our house. As punishment for us paying the rent on time every single month for eight years they've decided to give us the absolute legally required minimum notice of two months to get the hell out.

As such, the following are destined for scrappy, I always had in the back of my mind that they'd be projects as I dearly loved them both but never quite got round to it and now I've no choice. So free (or one peppercorn). Both have been stood for some time and will need transportation, the car in particular is likely to need winching onto a flatbed and I'm guessing it's siezed to buggery.

1991 Mk1 MX5 (actually Eunos Roadster import job), poppy up headlights! spoiler! headrest mounted speakers in leather seats! Liberally sprinkled it's bottom end all over the A40!

2000 Lav 750S Formula, beautiful bike, legendary Italian reliability, handling was via telepathy till the water pump explodificated and dumped hot slippery coolant all over the rear tyre lauching it's rider to altitudes requiring of air traffic control clearance before coming to a rest nestled within the soft and squidgy parts of said rider. Seems straight, replaced the worst of the cosmetics but still scruffy. Will need engine rebuild at minimum.

As said both of these have been stood a good while now and will need significantly more work than a "fixxer-upper".

Can supply more info and photos if desired - quick photo below (the SV is not on offer btw!). Log books for both are... somewhere, I may have to re-order those if I can't find them but not a problem.

I'll have the MX5 MK1 :)

Will be a weekend collection though cause that's the only time I can get my hands on the flat truck

You're more than welcome to it :) Any weekend in March or April will be fine, I'll PM my details over. Like I said, I'm guessing it's siezed to hell and won't roll but we can try towing it free to release. I'll start digging out docs.

Wowzers. As I believe they said in comic books of yore. Didn't expect this much interest.

Bagsy list for the Laverda is based on times of first interest whether public or PM, if anyone wants to drop out please do say and folks can move up the list.

First dibs - 17:22 - Bibio
Second dibs - 17:59 - Essex Dave
Third dibs - 19:07 - Berlin
Fourth dibs - 19:49 - Squirrel Hunter

For purposes of guestimating rough distance our post code is GL52. Full address being PM'd to all those who have interest.

And god no, don't want anything in swapsies, we're moving house remember :) The level of our collecting makes Wombles look like rank amateurs :)

More photos coming in the next few hours (digital camera walkabout, just found some old nokia with a decent enough camera, needs charging).

Well if Essex Dave drops out, I'll give him my camping gear. Complete the karma circle.

... and Bibio, it'll have to be sexual favours if you drop out :)

Third dibs - 19:07 - Berlin

Well, thats me out, the brakes have gone on the van and it's going to take me about a week just to get it ready for the racing in two weeks time.

So much for the Karma circle!

Good luck to whoever gets it! I'd have relished this project.

Berlin - is your van painted white? Reason I ask is that I'm pretty sure none of those come fitted with brakes as standard anyway :) Least none of the ones I see have 'em :)

As I see the list for the Lav now then (and please correct me if I've got this wrong):
Uno: Essex Dave
Duo: Squirrel Hunter

I know that the Surfer's resident woodland critter exterminator is still up for an autosol, engine grease and skinned knuckles themed summer - Essex Dave if you could confirm when you get a chance whether you're still interested I'd be appreciative.
