Thats a brilliant choice of names mate.... only way it could be better is if you swap the first two round....... but then that'd just be copying me.

midwifes sad similar, and also that he's very composed for a new born. Not much unsettles him, never thought anyone would be more laid back than me but this little trooper with his dislocated hip seems impervious to pain.

Good that you've found the hip now. A friend of my sister's just had to have her 1 yr old's hip dislocated or broken, muscles that had developed around it separated, and the hip reset in the correct place (I don't fully understand what the doctors have done). She is now in plaster from the waist down for 6 months whilst it heals in the correct place.

I missed that he had a dislocated hip... poor little mite, hope he recovers well. You are well and truly blessed :D

arnt we just, :) im so greatful to have him and of the many number of problems which he could have been born with I'd take a "hip-click" over any of them. Worse case senario is that he requires a fabric and velcro set of underpants designed to realign everything in the correct place, he'll only need to wear that for around 8weeks MAX so it'll all end up perfect before long.
He was in the Frank Breech position, (feet up by his ears) and thats the reason for the hipclick, very common and very fixable :) - still its bloody horrible streatching his legs out for him, they feel so brittle.
congratulations to you and mummy. sorry wee man has a sore leg but Im sure he will cope and it wont slow him down any. some days I contemplate dislocating libbys leg just to slow her down a bit or at least make her sit down for longer than 30 seconds.
