Offers?!
Honest Criticism wanted!
Do you think I've overpriced the bike? only had onne semi serious buyer but never turned up! and the obligatory 'would you take £200 for it?!'
Or do people think its the wrong time of year for selling this?
The price is a little high IMO. not that the bike isn't worth it, but you're up against 2007 bikes at around £2300 - 2500 that don't have many more miles on them. My advice - hold out for a while and see how it goes. before looking at other options.

Purely as a guidline, last week I was offered £3250?? as a trade in value for my 09 k9 sport in black v/low miles, BUT it was against an exotic Italian bike. JUST a guide, would have been nice to have taken his hand off up ti the elbow!!!
But it is of NO help when a dealer on fleabay is advertising new one @ £4300

Very true!
When I put it on there I only looked at what compareable aged models were going for, £3800 seemed to be the norm, still they could have been dreamers!
I suppose I'll drop it down to £3450?, whats the general thought at this price? A dealer offered me 3k but thats to low IMO.
Its still got Manufacturers warranty until October so thats got to be worth something more than a 07 warranty til the end of the road type?
Otherwise if someone has an S2000 and would consider part ex?! (wishful thinking!)

resale prices in the private market are all over the place-had to tell a mate during the week that his 2003 with under 1600 miles was only gonna get him max of about 2000-he was looking for 3000.

Offers for my low mileage L0 on trade in have ranged from £3000 to £3800 depending on the bike I am trading in for...Triumph were willing to give the better trade in price but then I am sure where the trade in is good the RRP on the replacement isn't so...swings and roundabouts
I am sticking with it for atleast another year after doing the window shopping as that was too much of a loss for the time I've had it...I'll be upgrading fork springs and zorst instead and having more fun on it whilst getting my insurance costs down for the next one :)
I guess if you just want rid without replacing you'll have to take the hit on what you want versus what you can realistically get...£3250 sound like a very good private sale price to me if you want to get rid soon(ish)
BUMP Price reduced! £3450
i paid £2800 for 2008 with only 600 mls on the clock
