OK, clearout time.

I've got a collection of Nitro buggies and I need to get rid of them.

Please only ask for photos if you're interested as there's tons of stuff and I want to sell it all as a job lot.

The basics include:

Carson King of Dirt Pucca race buggy. Sirio SB5 engine with 4 hours use on it and tuned pipe. Currently running hub extensions but these can be converted back to std for racing. Running correct weight oil in the shocks and the brake bias is set. 3 chanel controller (forget the same but is good.) with high torque metal drive servos. Basically, its ready to race. Top of the line diffs etc. No expense spared on this one.

for bashing I have another carson King of dirt that I converted to a truggy. RB S7 engine, longer struts from a Lightning and re-spring to suit. also hub extensions. Running HPi Nubs and its really shifts. I built this because I wanted a truggy that wheelied on power and I succeeded. Its basically the top end truggy with a shorter chassis to lift the front.
Comes with all High torque servos and tramsmitter, receiver etc.

Most Hot bodies Lightning2 and Lightning Standium parts fit directly to Carson buggies so easy to find spares.

Next is a Lossi XXT 1/10th scale that has a Mach 15 engine in it (due a new piston really). Again, full Rc gear with it.

Extras, Blimey, there's loads. Starter box, filler bottles, glow starters and chargers Boxes of spares and tools. spare controllers, a huge selection of nuts and bolts. Tool box, Spare wheels and tyres etc. After run oil, etc, etc

Also a Hot bodies Buggy with and OFNA .21 pull start motor (new) and as far as i remember, I've never run this. It needs RC gear but still has a brand new shell and is rolling.

So one full racing buggy ready to compete, one superb basher, One poorly Losi and a new rolling chassis and engine Hot Bodies buggy and everything to get them running. I can't ship the fuel, not allowed.

I want £450 for the lot. The engines are (http://www.apexmodels.com/index.php?app=gbu0&ns=prodshow&ref=222000207&sid=0rdd754457ugqk3j3osb8r1m5f7590jv) worth £450 alone new. (http://www.galaxymodels.co.uk/detail.asp?id=25183&rootid=3|146)

I must have spend upwards of £1800 on this lot :)

for those in the know, you'll know how much this lot is worth.

I'd love it to go to a good home and get the use it derserves.

please note, these aren't for kids :) These will do 60mph over ploughed fields!

I've found some Video of the first run (http://www.corporateflyfishing.com/Images/LSP_Eater.MPG) of the second one on the list (truggy)

I called it the "LSP Eater". Initial runs were with the engine running really rich (for safety) then leaned off and braking bias and stearing dialled in. This was before the rear wing was added. It was almost controllable at the end. The first on on the list is way faster than this one.

Muahahaha
I had a model plane that was similar, tuned pipe .70, ran it on 30% heli fuel. Had it in a very slippery and very undersized built up ply/balsa delta wing, bloody missile. Measured by sound doppler shift at about 230mph straight and level :)

Well this things "flies" too. We drove it off one of those BMX ramps (http://www.cyclelife.com/Product.aspx?pc=2&pt=204&pg=5248) at top speed and it flew 42 meters and landed perfectly (we beat the "world record" on the gadget (http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xd8244_tm-gadget-show-world-record-rc-car-jump_auto) show by 16 meters on the first try!! :D )

So Nitro is a good brand then? Got my son a cheapy R/C car out of the supermarket for xmas last year and he is ready to move up to a decent one. Was thinking about this http://www.nitrotek.co.uk/bug-crusher-electric-radio-controlled-truck.html

Go On Mr. Flymo! Its a cracking deal! :-)

"Nitro" is the type of fuel. The link you posted is for a toy and *nothing* like these! :-)

There are two Carson King of Dirt's, One Hot Bodies Lightning II and a Losi XXX NT

A lot of the manufacturers rebrand or use other peoples parts and all Hot Bodies Lightning (and Lightning stadium) parts fit Carsons.

Here's a Video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6Bw_pqC5_s) of a Lightning Stadium. This is running the std .26 engine and both of the ones I have for sale above can wipe the floor with it! Either with the Sirio Engine or the RB S7! Quick Eh?

Well I kinda guessed that given the price, but the one I posted is for a child. Knowing nothing about RC cars, I was trying to ask if it was any good.

Actually ralph, it looks quite good.

Some points:

You'll need rechargeable batteries for the remote and the car (aa's) and a fast charger. They eat std Duracells. If you get 2400-2800MHa batteries they last for ages and charge quickly

You'll need at least one spare 7.2V battery, even better two. One in the car, one in the charger and one ready to go.

and a fast charger!

There's nothing worse than kids waiting for a battery to charge.

Factor those into the price.

Also factor in availability (and price) of parts. Things can get expensive with the cheap kits and they make their money from the never ending list of parts and upgrades you go through :-)

Wot he said and you've spelt Nitro wrong in the title, anyone searching for it will not get a hit :(

I noticed that as soon as I'd listed it but good ol' Ebay won't let you edit the title of the bloody listing.

And as I started it for 99p I knew the buy it now would last about 10 minutes before someone bid and knocked the BIN off.

Thanks for letting me know :-)

Should be able to, I've never had an issue doing it
