Just thought Id introduce myself as Im new on here. My name is David and I come from Fife in Scotland.

I have my heart totally set on one of these bikes and I am actually going to see one on Sunday. It seems like a good enough bike from what I know about them.

The only problem is that the seller has recently split one of the fairings (he is going to send me pics of the split)

The bike is a fully faired 07 in Blue with 8k on the clock. It has a years mot and 6 months tax and fully documented service history. He wants £2500 but I could probably get that down considerably due to the split.

Without seeing it, are these splits repairable? If not how much for a new fairing. I dont know exactly where the split is yet but suspect its the biggish part where your knees would be (If that helps :oops:)
