All being well, I'll have all the bits bolted back on, my borrowed battery back and a new tax disc tommorow and will be venturing out for the first ride of the new season by early PM tomorrow 02/04 (though I will still have an odd coloured side fairing due to a paint issue!)

Will be out with another SV possibly doing the tour de suffolk route mentioned on here before.

A [late]breakfast at Wally's Caf (Acton) or Tubby T's (Stradishall) might be in order but be nice to see some other .orgers about.

:D

It's always good to meet other bikers, unfortunately I am home bound for now (I can't travel far anyway) as the wife is now 9 days over due and counting...it sucks looking at the rides I could be having in the nice weather but all will be forgiven when the baby arrives

Next time!

Time for that red hot curry, followed by a hot bath and then that other thing you haven't had for about 9 months ;)

If it makes you feel better mate I'll be in the same boat soon enough. Though that won't be til November when I'll have hung the skid lid up again for winter!

Anyway, didn't get out til 4 in the end (usual bits going wrong in the garage) so only did 70 miles and stayed local to Bury. But blew away the cobwebs and grabbed a bacon sarnie at the Barton Mills picnic site. Still ride as badly as last year but great to be back on it!!

Early ride tomorrow before mothers day lunch to look forward to now! [sorry kaivalagi] By the way, my niece was born last month after not slowing much for a speed bump, followed by hot chilli and a hot bath. Sometimes these old wives tales almost seem believeable!

Been there, done that lol. I have the same feeling I had when trying for children over 9 months back...We've also wiped out a whole paper bag of Scotch Bonnets too that would normally last a month, and she's also eaten a fair few pineapples and has been dancing / walking / exercising as best she can...

Any other wife's tales worth giving a go?

Little princess is making herself known I think! Fashionably late....gawd help us!

Hope you have a nice ride! :p I'll have to try the speed bump thing!

I'll be making up for lost time soon enough...well maybe not that soon....but well before summer is out! I feel a trip up to Scotland if I can fit it in somewhere

The Mrs is hoping for the 11th purely for the 11/11/11 birthdate but that would make him/her 9 days late. But given kaivalagi's situation it just might happen!!

If does, then you'll not forget, as the 11th is always Rememberance Day

11/11/11 at 11am,11m & 11sec whats the odds on that

Think I'll stick a tenner on at the bookies

Tenner on at the bookies and a few quid in bribes to the West Suffolk midwives and you could be on to a winner!
