As some of you may know I dabble in a bit of painting here and there.
I have been wanting to get back into it and do more than what I have been doing lately (which is none :p)
As I usually do paintings on order, my brain has been quite empty of ideas so I have had to ask for some help.
When ever I asked a certain someone for constructive help I always got the same answer - "my bike". I was very wary of doing this 1. because it seems too daunting, 2. I have never painted anything like that before and 3. its a curvy :p
Today I took the plunge and started drawing it out on a 3'x2' canvas.
Here it is in the pencil stage (sorry but they are quite hard to see because of the lightness of the pencil).
Please ignore the strange shaped tyre, I was getting fed up by that point as my hands started to sieze up.
I will update as I go along if people wish :)

Try lifting them up a bit, so they're flatto the lens rather than angled, might be able to see them a bit betterr :)
Or draw them in charcoal ;)

you could also find out ont net where your local Dr Sketchy Anti Art school is held. Great place for a laugh, a few drinks and some great subjects to get your creative side going again.
Ooh, i do love a good project. Good luck and have fun.

liking your choice of angle. Looks most promising, will be keeping a very open eye on this. People always want their bikes drawing, if you can get it right there's a great market for it. I did a Daytona sketch once, can't say I have the patience to do it again and that was in pencil...I'd cry if I had to paint it too! :-P

Will be starting to paint it tomorrow so fingers crossed I don't get annoyed with it and ruin it (I'm good at that :p)
Don't go over the lines or you'll lose points! :)
