Punch a big screwdriver through it and use the screwdriver as a lever

Yeah, my Dad said to do that. Was just a shot in the dark really. Will probably end up doing that, haha.

Not like your going to use the filter again. Just do it. Put a rag on the floor to collect to oil that spills out. Obviously make sure you drained the oil first, but there will be some left in the filter.
