Forgot my camera for Sunday's ride in the lakes - duh! Only a low quality camera on my phone but here we go anyway.

We should've arranged to meet up. It seems we were in a number of the same places on the same day!
We're going back up there again later this year but we'll make a w/e of it next time with a stopover in Buttermere YH.

did you not do some of the passes? the lakes are great, but there are so many better roads.

We did do the passes, Wrynose and Hardknott, a couple of the smaller ones too. We spent most of the day riding small mountain roads and very enjoyable it was as most people had headed for the towns leaving us to ourselves on a fabulous selection of roads.
