Hi Guys,

I am a new member here.

My name is Craig and I am 23 years old.

I am currently a student, and I have been driving for 5.5 years now. However, I think the time has come for me to look into getting a motor bike.

I have my CBT booked for in a few weeks, and then I will be looking at doing my Direct Access after this, before hopefully looking at an SV650.

I am in Manchester, and have family down in Norwich, where the roads are great for riding!

One of the reasons that I am looking for a bike is to travel to and from Uni, It is only a 4 mile trip which takes 40 minutes on a bus, and my GF has my car in the days due to working full time.

Would you recommend an SV650 as a daily rider? Also, how would this fare in the wet, or do you guys stay off your bikes from say Oct-Jan?
