View Full Version : newbie from cornwall
Hi all, where do i start ? well, just bought a tidy curvy 650 for the summer, 19k miles from new 2000 w reg, had a sv1000 pointy a couple of years back and loved it , so having been without a big bike for a month or two now decided to go back to sv.s again as i love em and the noise they make, can anyone tell me the best can to put on to sound the best yet giving the best gains at the best price ? you know what i,m getting atm anyway , picking it up either friday or saturday, cant wait , oh and hi all, jon mid cornwall

Hello from wonderfull Scotland.
Sadly can't give much advice on End can's but what I can say is on the SV I had a Leo Vince carbon oval, it was a beautiful thing but the service from the company was slow to say the least. Also don't buy a carbon can they don't like twins...
I think the best things you can do to improve the bikes performance are different gearing I went up to a 46 tooth back sprocket and spend money on suspention improvements...
cheers for all the welcomes chaps, used to have a sv1000 naked , loved it , but by all accounts the 650 is not far behind on performance, cant wait till saturday to get it , my new stubby has been dispatched from Fuel , rapid service and a good price
ordered a fuel 350mm stubby can for it now from their website plus the discount from here, have had an e mail saying its dispatched and on the way , it,ll be here before the bike , ha ah , cant wait to get out on it
