I have a set of sorted forks for sale.

They have had Hyper-pro .9 springs fitted with emulators and all the internal work done.

£150 posted.

How much difference did the emulators make?

What would you be after collected?

Out of interest, what 'internal work' has been done?

Damper rods have to be drilled out when fitting emulators, and the small rebound hole blanked off.

I would take £130 collected the springs alone are £100 and emulators £40.

They have had the damper rods drilled ot to make them redundant and the rebound holes welded up, new seals dust and oil and 20 weight oil then just set up for my bike. They did make a difference especially if you have been ridding standard forks.

I currently have Ohlins .85 springs and 15w, wanted emulators to finish the job. Just looking to see what I can make back selling a set of stock forks and the springs :-)

I'm v interested if we can confirm they've been sorted professionally/by someone with a good rep (no offence to Rob who may be that himself for what I know!). How many miles have they done since the fettling? Mine's a 1999 curvy and I'm 6'1/13st without gear, so .9 would be about right?
cheers, D

The internal work IE the welding and drilling was done by Yorkie_Chris who has done a great job on them and a good rep with other riders who he has worked with. They were reassembled by Stadium Garage in Doncaster by Mark Chadwick who has many many many years in working with bikes and also racing them him self. The forks have done 30 laps of Mallory park and thats it since been sorted.

Thanks Rob. I see these are from the minitwin you're breaking - in that thread you mention that you 'think they're straight' - any reason to think they may not be? You didn't own the bike that long..any reason for that? ok, cut to the chase - have these forks been crashed?! ;)
Cheers,
D

p.s. - oh and what's the cosmetic condition like? One reason I'm interested in a replacement pair rather than just sorting my own internals is because the previous owner of my bike allowed mine to get crapped up by road salt - if yours are clean, that's extra sauce!

Just thought I should come back on and vouch for Rob as a seller - forks arrived today, exactly as described, well packaged, all round 'five star' experience :)
Cheers,

Dave
