I've been waiting for this jacket for a while and when it turned up........awww no! It was too small.

So as the title says Alpinestars Jacket size 42. I could have sworn I was a 42 chest size but maybe the pecs (moobs) have expanded a bit. Or maybe Alpinestars sizes are a bit on the small side.

That said, I bought it from ebay. The advert said worn 4 times and tbh it looks no more worn than that. The jacket is immaculate, as good as brand new. It has shoulder and elbow protectors, inner zip to fit to trousers, detachable liner and air vent zips in sleeves, plus a zipped section for a back protector. I promise you it is as good as new. It was a spontaneous buy by me and a bargain .....if only it fitted.

Sorry if the photos are skewed I'm too tired and dissapointed to work on that right now. If you're interested let me know and I'll do some more.

Just looking to cover costs £40 plus postage for a slim orger, before I put it up on ebay and take my luck. Quality jacket bought by an orger with great taste but no sense in sizes.;)

I think the sizing might be a bit strange with alpinestars. I just went up stairs and checked my leather jacket lable it says

US 42 EUR 52

I have a 39 inch chest and jacket fits perfectly so not sure where the 42/52 comes from???

Very nice jacket though mate, how very annoying it doesn't fit !!!

I tried a few 42's on before in shops before, they seemed OK and my suit jackets, and current bike jacket are 40's, so I assumed all would be OK.

So for anyone reading and interested I'm a size 40-42, medium in everything else, I can get it on, zip it up, but look like a doughnut as it's tooooo tight.

If you want it, to try it, I'm happy to send it and take it back if it doesn't fit if you cover postage. (Orger trust).

Alpinestars size very small. Im normally an xl in jackets but had to go to a 3xl when i was trying on there textile jackets. Im also a 50 US / 60 EURO in there leather jackets, but can fit into a lot smaller with other companys products. Its not gonna help you with your sale as such but may help with future sizing?! Glws though and a free bump!

Looking at your pic, I think it might fit you around the chest but probably be a bit short on the length. I would estimate that this would generally be considered a Small jacket.

Be careful on the throne.

Hi Martin, I'll pop down the Post Office and see how much the postage is on Tuesday. Might be scary, but it'll still be a good deal overall. I'll check..

change of plan I´m afraid - my son wants to stick with his textiles until he can afford a one piece - good luck with the sale.

The Jacket is in great condition.

Might still be for Sale, am waiting for feedback from one person at the moment.

These are the measurements of the jacket taken across it while it's lying flat.

You could compare it to your current?

Under arm to under arm = 52cm
Waist size = 46cm
Front collar to the bottom of the jacket, down the zip line = 49cm
From the collar down the back to the bottom = 57cm

I'm not as tall as you, 32" waist, but I'm broad across the shoulders and chest which is where it doesn't fit me.
