Welcome.
You might like to mention which model and colour you're getting. There's a little bit of gentle mickey taking goes on between curvy (old model) and pointy (best model) bikes, but it's not serious.

Welcome. Although I think you find that black curves are the only way, unless it's a green pointy. ;-)
Ps. Where you from?

im from Dover down in kent. Im wondering if there will be any rideouts on the way as my mates dont have bikes any more.
Hello!
Kawasakis are best. Triumphs are not (well, not mine, anyway).
SVs are okay.
HTH - and welcome.

Its a ride in to Hastings. Every first may bank holiday thousands of bikers of all kinds, (they reckon 20,000 this year) descend onto Hastings seafront from all over the country. Traditionally it starts at Locksbottom at the top of the A21 and runs all the way down the A21 to Hastings seafront. Living in Hastings I dont go all the way to Locksbottom, but I will one year, I still ride out a fair few miles to ride back. Great atmosphere and stuff. Only thing that brings it down are the plod out to catch anyone 1mph over the limit. Ok so maybe an exaggeration but keep your eyes open because they are out everywhere on mayday. Oh and cars on Hastings seafront. Shall post about that in the Mayday thread to warn peoples.
Oh and welcome, I occaisionally ride to Dover, its a nice little ride over.
