Help!! Bike wont start

Hi
Today i took the bike apart to take the ignition barrel off so i could fit it to my dads track bike(he lost the key and were going silverstone tomorrow, he found the key just as i removed it). Anyway ive put the bike back together after removing/ reinstalling the tank and airbox. But it now wont start, the fuel pump doesnt start up, and on the dash CHEC is written in the bottom right corner, i have removed everything and put it back together again/ checked the fuses and no joy so has anyone got any ideas. Thanks. O and its a k7 pointy.

erm... if chec is written, check that: kill switch off, out of gear, side stand up, clutch in. think thats it

if that doesn't work, check the connections for each of the above things
if that doesn't work, someone who knows a bit more than me will be along shortly :)

If fuel pump doesnt start up sounds like an electrical fault. Check connections are ok.

the above and if not it will be a fuse under the seat (fuel pump) most likely

You haven't knocked the kill switch have you ??
