I got some spray cans and a touch-up bottle from these guys and the colour match is perfect. Just tell them your standard paint code if that's what you're after

You should find it in the manual if you have it.

One thing to watch out for, most of the candy colours are three layer.
Silver base, transparent colour, then clear lacquer. This makes them a bugger to match because you have to get the colour layer just the right thickness or you end up with different shades. Usually that means spraying the colour a little too thick, cutting it back very carefully until it matches then accidentally going through to the base coat by mistake so you have to start all over again. :smt076
Definitely worth a couple of test runs on a piece of scrap before you go near your bike.
Keith.

I'm guessing yours will be Candy Grand Blue YC2. Bike-Paint code 4997
Where in essex are you paddy t, I bought some 200ml rattle cans from Gramic paint suppliers in colchester yesterday, £11 each, but just gave them the Y9H code for my sv and they mixed it while I waited.
Keith, paint supplier I used said the required base was white not silver, so far done the white, and yellow and they look pretty close already, just the gold opaquey pearl, then clear to go.

St Helen's Autopaints are very good. £6.99 for a 400ml aerosol in any colour:

Halfrauds charge something like £14 for a 200ml can if I remember right?
You just give them the manufacturers paint code. I've ordered from them for my car and bike and the colour match has been spot on. Delivery only takes a couple of days too.
thats cheap, although i was in that want it now frame of mind sat morning :p:p
