View Full Version : Anti crotch rot spray?

So I bought a pair of secondhand nearly new, HG lined leather Bike trousers. Now I trust the guy I bought from wasn't some pox ridden old chopper rider with more skin complaints than sweaty tramp, but.......
I still want to make sure the leathers are basically clean before I jump in them.
Specialist dry cleaners seem to be about £40+post so I was thinking about buying the spray that they use for bowling shoes. Giving it a blast inside and trusting to luck.
Any better ideas? One doesn't want to catch something nasty around ones crown jewels does one?
Cheers

Thank you Mr Reeder for your suggestion. I could accommodate such a device if I opened the flies on my leathers but I fear it would scratch my tank. As such I reject your suggestion.

Thank you Mr Bluefishman, but just because I have a regimented, bathing, shaving and grooming regime and a penchant for high hygiene, does not make me a Puff. Love Idle Biker x

You can get leather friendly lid and gear foam cleaner but can't remember what its called ,might be made by muc off
With a bit of the old tuck between trick you could get away with a women's one. Just grind down the spikes at the front and you're sorted!

Athletes foot powder. This is a serious answer - it is anti bacterial and perfectly safe.

Yep agreed, good call sid squid, between that and Darrens fabreeze I think I'll be clean and sweet to ride. Jimmy if you want the remaining powder for your 2feet let me know.
Cheers all.
Cheers all.
You're welcome. Kind of a shame my idea wasn't chosen but I appreciate the acknowledgement none the less :)

I take the liners out my leathers and wash them in the washing machine, they come out fine no problems. Then I have bought some leather cleaner and restorer from HG to clean and treat them this all works well without any problems.
Deep Heat:smt104 I waiting for someone to try that...
