Come along to THE 1ST EVER BURGER-RUN in Aid of BANBRIDGE VIP CLUB(Visually Impaired)

Saturday 4th June @ 10.00
Meet up at Coach Car Park

Route to encompass Banbridge, *Lisburn, Ballnahinch, Newcastle, Banbridge, and Finishing at The Railway Inn for Your FREE FATBOY BURGERin the Beer Garden washed down by the Liquid of your choice (Buy your own lol)

So come along does not matter what level you’re at just enjoy the craic

*Slight Detour at Lisburn (Given on the day)

£10 per Bike Minimum Donation Please

*For those who like a bit of a Tipple a Lock up Facility can be provided for Bikes*

I have to work Saturdays now or I'd have been there. :rolleyes:

The date clashes with a very popular rally too so a few folk will be going to that. :(:(:(

Ok Bedhead ty anyways at least you responded. what gets me is people in here go on about going on runs together and when someone arranges something, all be it for charity, they all go quiet.

Whats the other run Bedhead???? Apart from the TT lol

End of the Line MCC Rally is on that night up in the Shorts social club.

Very few runs on a day other than a sunday are successful. The club I used to be in organised one for a thursday and ONE person turned up. We had to rope in bystanders to pose for the photo for the local rag.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

You really have to plan months in adavnce and check the events calendar on the Quay Vipers website, that's the one most people check, if you can get a free sunday and get it on the site, people will see it.

There's no shortage of SV's about, the last really good sunday there, I saw about a dozen in Newcastle parked up.

Hope your wrong Bedhead lol was going to run it on a Sunday but another club locally is running theirs on sunday so decided to take the Bull by the horns and go for a Saturday, only 6 confirmed so far on facebook but loads of posters up and local press is plugging it for me too so fingers crossed

Well had the run yesterday weather was great and the craic was mighty, everyone had a great day by all accounts and we raised a few quid for the VIP club Banbridge.
I think everyone had a blast round the UGP circuit i know i did :D

Good to hear that BL - it was a good day for a run. I was at Kirkistown and it was wild windy in the morning but calmed down in the afternoon.

Ok folks its that time again. Its the 2nd Burger Run in aid of a local Charity this time Sunday 1st July has been penciled in as a Sunday is more suitable for people. Anyways same format as last years, Route still
being thrashed out but final destination is the same "The Railway Inn" Banbridge for your well earned Burger. More details to follow as things get sorted.

I've gone over to the dark side - sold the SV650 race bike and bought a Kwak zxr400 to race. lol

Ok folks the 2nd Burger Run is in motion date confirmed Sunday 1st July Money going to Donard School. Meet @ 10.00am beside The Railway Inn Banbridge ( Bottom of Reilly Street across from Bus Depot) Route roughly is B/Bridge, Comber, Ardglass, Newcastle and back to The Railway Inn for your free FatBoy Burger.
£10 minimum Donation please

Weather Update - Looks to be OK in the morning with the main rain coming in the evening. As long as its not lashing down down im leaving home will still be there.

I contacted the big lad and asked him for a break in the weather for the run and he said he would see what he could do. Fingers crossed he comes through.
Bert i will be there from 09.30 as the guy from MindWise wants to set up a stand so all being well see you then by the way im on a curvy fully faired prob only one there till you turn up on your SV lol
