Worried about how many Olympic tickets you've applied for?

"One person worried about this is Ruth, who has applied for £22,000 worth of tickets."

AV will bring a hung parliment everytime. dumb idea!

I hope the olympic tickets are like a bank holiday travel time. You know, "everyone will leave at tea time so lets leave at 9pm, it'll be quiet by then" so you leave at 9 only to find everyone had the same idea. If teh same theory was applied to tickets then we'd be saying "everyones going to try for the 100m/cycling/diving tickets so there is no point, lets go for the shot put instead" therefore crowd is empty for the big events and the low key ones end up packed out. ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the irony.

Yep, there were two things putting me off buying olympics tickets, the prices and the stupid booking system. The pricing I can understand, since the games are monumentally expensive to run, but the ticketing system is just cr*p.

They're going to charge you for all the tickets you requested, then refund the ones you didn't get later. WTF?

They won't even tell you where the seats you're booking are. So I might pay for a premium seat but it could be anywhere. They can make up the seating boundaries after they've got everyone's money.

They would definitely have got more money from me with a more conventional ticketing system. As it stands I may (or may not) be going to see some badminton.
