hi forum members,

Its time to let the weekend bike go as its hardly used, and would rather someone else appreciate it. Selling due to lack of use and maybe to spend on a new car or bike.

bike details:

make = Suzuki
model = sv650
year = 2005
millage = 11,000
price = £2800 ono
mot until = October 2011
taxed until = march 2012

the bike comes as standard and is in MINT condition. The bike has been well looked after and currently has bits of celo-tape covering the under-tray, tank and front of the lower fairing to protect it from stone chips. so the paint work is in perfect condition. Has colour matched undertray, datatool alarm and tail tidy, and seat cowl.

Maybe so. I saw and ended up buying my bike as a result of an add on autotrader. Mite seem like a lot of money but if you want to sell, autotrader will prob give you more views and therefore a better chance of selling?! Hzve bought my car as a result of an add on autotrader too. Just my 2p! Glws.

I've always advertised my car and bikes on Autotrader but only ever sold from Ebay :rolleyes: The cost is a bit over the top.

yeah got mine on piston heads, probably will put on auto trader but not in a rush to get rid of it as i do really like the bike still in a loving sort of way. but i want a new project and a different engine.

does anyone think my asking price is too high? i think it is reasonable based on condition although milage goes against it

Price looks ok to me. I paid just over that, from a dealer on a 2006 with 5000 miles. The only other difference is I got a Micron, carbon can. Given that it's the right time of year to be selling you should be ok.

but i am now a new proud owner of a cbr 600rr so sv650 has to go as there is just enough room in the shed to fit them both in lol.

If it had to go, why don't you think of lowering the price. As to be honest looks lovely but there are newer ones with less miles and customized parts which people want for less or about the same. This is why i am not interested.
