Well, after my 60 hour week it'd be nice to relax, but instead I have to do some homework. I'll be doing the same tomorrow too.

But tonight I will be playing music and drinking guinness, so I don't mind :D

Toilet unblocking... that sounds like the worst possible thing to do on a day like this

I've been out for a bimble to loch rannoch with blue flame. Beautiful sunny day for it :D

I've mostly been trying to ignore a pinched sciatic nerve whilst moderating GCSE coursework, grim

This afternoon was much better, by the sea, catching crabs with the kids. Although a tad brezzy on the East Coast

I had to turn down a ride to rothbury :pale:

Mind you its because of the injury if I don't feel safe enough to ride then how can I ride safe?

Pretty full day here, up before 6 to plot a ride, on the road for 6:40, covered 190 miles and back in time to see the end of Moto2 and then the MotoGP :) forgot to note, the route was pretty good, the return was more rushed as I wanted to be back for the race so I shot down the motorways but I got to ride snake pass for the first time and went via wynnats pass too, loads of roads I've never been on so was interesting. not too much traffic either at that time. heres the linky:

Then pottered/arsed about in the garden,
I've got a shed to build and I've been and bought the accessories including some new stain for it.
I got my breeze blocks laid out for the base, then got bored and fired up the chainsaw to lop a couple of branches..
Decided to try the chainsaw out on anything else that was laying around (I've got a few logs from last year) till mercifully the saw ran out of fuel.
Opted for the next thing I could find in the shed, the vacuum/blower I got on sale last year, blew debris all over the garden, managed to suck some into the bag, probably more by accident as its not nearly as fun, got bored with that then.
Remembered the new stain I'd got and decided to test it on a bit of my existing shed, looks nice in blue ;) (I like blue :)) bored again so
Finished off leveling the blocks out and decided to
See how deep I could of a hole I could dig (yes I appreciate this sounds and IS childish but I had to try), think I've got around 3 feet down in a 1 foot square hole and hit some thick clay so got bored again.
Decided I should stop now before...
A: I burn to a crisp in the mild sun
and
B: my garden looks worse than the Somme on a bad day!

but all in all a pretty good day, the shed base is ready to be laid when my unpaid help has some free time :) gonna be a bigun too! 290x570cm a proper workshop ;)

Anyhow, ramble over, hope I made someone laugh with my ADHD addled antics!

Broadly speaking.
1. Woke up with a hangover after celebrating QPR winning the championship.
2. Gingerly made my way out for a run with my dogs. 3 miles. Nearly threw up.
3. Hot bath, read the papers, quick ride.
4. Sunday dinner down the Pub, Guinness (a few) felt better. Quick kip after.
5. Finished the decorating for added value brownie points.
6. Gardening in the Veggie patch.
7. Cooked the dinner for the family.
8. Nice bottle of Merlot.
9. Easy day. Life is good..today.
10. Early night rideout to Hastings tomorrow.

got woke up at silly o`clock by my 2 young kids, spent next couple of hours trying to get a bit of shut eye again, then seemed to spend most of the day in and out of the car driving all over the place.

Bit of gardening, washed the car, that was about it

Nearest went near the sv was to cover it up, might be lucky to go for a ride tomorrow evening.

If it is any help to anybody, I can confirm that an evening filled with excellent music and >8 pints of guinness is an evening well spent.

Hic.
