Well folks I have finally been given my flight date for going to Afghan (next week) so tonight I am going for my last little bimble to Anstruther before I park my bike up and spend my last few days with my family before i go.
Aww - shame it's short notice I'd have come out with you.

it's not really been short notice as i was originally informed last may that i was going.
The short notice part is that i have been waiting a month for my flight date and just got told yesterday that i will be flying at the beginning of next week.
Thanks for all your kind messages and i hope the weather stays good for you all this summer. for those going to the GM and the AR and doing any miles on their bikes stay safe and keep it rubber side down.

well if you are passing this way and you have the accessories to give it a service first then feel free to pop in and get the keys from my wife. ;)
I will be putting the bike on the paddock stand and attaching the trickle charger so all she has to do is press the switch on the socket for a few days at a time. don't want it plugged in and switched on for 4 months. every couple of weeks it will be on trickle for a few days.

ach the best way to charge a battery is use the bike I'm sure a few laps round knockhill will sort it out :)
Dont tell ricky, but his wife has a plan.... lol
