Hi,
Got the mod 2 test tommorow and all being well should be out and about on The Yellow Peril tommorow evening (probably rain for the first time in over a month)
Anybody got any tips ?

Relax, look far ahead, keep your distances from the vehicle ahead (remember, longer if it's a large vehicle) and keep your wits about you.
Oh, and don't think you need to stop at every junction to show you've looked - I did, didn't end well :D just ride as you would normally and you'll be fine! Best of luck!

Good luck.
As for tips, the main thing for me was watching the speed!
Oh, and if you see another yellow curvy (currently without lowers) in Hull, give a wave as its probably me!:smt039

Good look!
I mean have a good look as I'm sure your instructor has already told you.
Watch the speed too but most importantly, enjoy the ride, relax & remember to breathe.
I'm normally cool as a cucumber but was unnecessarily nervous and had to remind myself more than once to keep calm & carry on.
When I did, I relaxed, rode better & even enjoyed the ride (lots).
When we got back to the test center I was told by the examiner he could tell I relaxed.
Good luck ;)

good luck
and relax.
Relax and ride as would normally but remember your Life savers and check your mirrors often. Make sure when checking your mirrors that you move your head slightly to show the examiner you have checked them. This is what I was told before doing my MOD 2. It worked, no minors or majors.
Good luck!
Relax as much you can! Only speed up to speed limits AT the signs not before, same with slowing down do so before the sign not at it! (my mistakes )
Other then that good luck!

Imo forget everything and just ride naturally, don't think too much. i did mod 1 and mod 2 was sprung on me the same day. so just rode how i would normally. 0 minors :D

I just recently passed my module 2, so just remember to look ahead for any potential hazards and watch out for any speed limit changes (if you forget, use your surroundings to give you a clue to what the speed limit actually is)

Well I passed with 2 minor faults, thought I'd really blown it but carried on regardless....... Bit gutted that it started raining just as I got home from the test centre but still managed a sneaky 1/2 HR ride out on The Yellow Peril !!
Am well chuffed , thanks for the tips as they all helped enormously
Congratulations! :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Congratulations and well done, now just take it easy for a while and enjoy yourself. :D

Nice one! Take it easy, big jump from a 125cc to a bike with a throttle that does something when you twist it!
Enjoy!
