Your a brave man, take your thermals...

I'll be up for all three days, I'll be cheering on Torquil Paterson in the Harley Davidson Championship.

I do love the friday practice if its dry, its great to see the good riders in this country lapping round the track.

I'm going to miss Friday practice, setting off after work.
Got my tickets and camp passes yesterday. Bought a pop up fishing shelter for when it rains.
Any tips on the best places to watch the action

Depends on what your after viewing wise.

If its all overtaking madness your after sit in the seats down at Taylor's Hairpin - you don't see much of the track but all of the major moves are made there. You'll get a few highsides too as they come up the main straight (on the sunday they usually have a big screen so u can see the Eurosport coverage)

If you want a good view of lots of the track sit on the banking at the top of Duffas (first corner - now called SEAT) if you get the right spot up there you can see about 75% of the track, but you can't see the hairpin for outbraking manovers.

You can also sit at the bottom of the hill and see quite a bit of the track and your closer to the action (Scotsman - I think they'll have a big screen like the Hairpin)

I'm a fan of sitting in the sheds at the Clark's corner its a fairly high speed corner and your quite close to the action (so close they've had to put netting up on the front of the sheds)

But most of all I like being on the top of the banking on railway (now Hislops - a name change I CAN cope with) you can see a lot of the track ie from Duffas to John R Weir then from Hislops round to Taylor's.

If you've never been before I'd do a wee bit of walking on the Saturday, it won't take you too long to get round the whole track.

Ever the optimist, I'm hoping lightning doesn't strike twice and it's not called off due to rain.

Got it on good authority that the weather is OK for Sunday! Just ordered tickets for collection(Saves a £10 on a pair), hope it doesn't pi*sh it down all day.

I am hoping to make it up, skint but never mind, I can't spend it when I am dead! As long as the weather is slightly better than last year at least then I shall be content!
