In my yoof I once sold Jack Dee a windsurf sail and in the same year I demo'd a Naish kitesurf set-up for Nicholas Lyndhurst.
Both in West Wittering, West Sussex.

John Major was here last week.
We've also had the Queen, Rolf Harris, Desmond Tutu, Russell Crowe and Jorge Lorenzo here in the last 18 months and Phil Jupitus!

Dave Spikey and Ken Morely (Randy reg from corrie) both drink in one of my locals. So if Davepreston claims Spikey it was because I took him in there.
Well Maviczap did say Z list allowed.
Oh I have met Alan Shearer in one of my locals as well, Ozvaldo Addilles in the same local hotel that Gary Flitcroft did not want to know the press to know he was taking hookers back to. Then again I knew about that before the press as my daughter sold him the room and he even signed in with his genuine name/address.
Oh I suppose the most famous person I have ever met was HRH during her silver jubilee tour.
Oh had a curry in the same restaurant as Foggy and his missus, but two tables up

At a Friday night Soho meet I spotted an actor from The Bill walking down the street the guy plays one of the Superintendent type people. As I pulsed in recognition, he clocked me and our eyes meet. My eye's must have said "You?" his eyes said "Yes its me", and he continued on his way. I really need to look him up and find out what his name is.
I've also been sniffed by Rolf Harris and molested by Ainsley Harriot. But I doubt anyone wants to hear about that.
Got on a plane with Gary Lineker on my return from Honeymoon in St Lucia (2007).
Sir Tim Rice is at my place of work today. I'm off to find him in 5 minutes as we are doing an interview about the late Leslie Crowther.
Nasser Hussain is also on site - I made him a coffee first thing to stop him moaning and grumbling all morning.

Guy Martin the other week at work. Was leaving with the missus as I came into graft.
Most of the Newcastle United players (I work in the ground now and again)
We do get the odd celeb in where I'm working atm as its a little bit out of the way
Saw John Hopkins at Croft the other week (again him crash coursing a track), he's stupidly quick
Whilst on the terraces at the Mighty Dartford FC, was standing next to Teddy Sheringham...sent the kids over for them to gt an autograph, to which they simply said "who is he?" as loud as possible.
Turns out his son plays for Dartford.
I'm good friends with the shortarsed Aussie Paul Lewis, who used to be a 500GP racer. He and I met when I was living in Worksop because my boss there was an old friend and his personal manager towards the end of his racing career. I used to regularly stay over and get absolutely wasted with him and other friends at his place in Maidenhead when he lived there. He's quicker on a Harley than most experienced riders are on full-on litre sports bikes and for a shortarse with a mullet he's a complete babe-magnet - gorgeous women flock to him even though he never lets on he's quite wealthy.
Went to a party in Essex one night and sat chatting up Dido, but I hadn't a clue who she was until a mate told me. She went cold as soon as she realised I knew who she was famous - apparently she likes the quiet life out of the spotlight.
Met loads of top-flight racers in the course of work and trackside. I've spent the weekend working at shop openings with Michael Rutter, a day with Jamie Witham, another two or three separate days with Steve Plater and been bought a couple of drinks by Guy Martin at Silverstone, shared a pit garage with Jenny Tinmouth a couple of times and had a great laugh cracking jokes with her all day etc etc.
I know Derek Redmond the olympic gold medalist reasonably well from doing trackdays and racing with him and doing a bit of spannering on his ZX10R when he broke a spark plug in the head.
When I was selling leather interiors for classic Jaguars I sold Phil Collins a trim kit for a Mk2 Jaguar, another Mk2 kit to Bruce Foxton from the Jam and latterly Sham 69, an E-Type trim kit to Frank Carson and sometimes Stirling Moss used to pop into the office to have a natter with the boss cos they knew each other from way back.
Of all of them, Bruce Foxton is the only one who came across at the time as an utter a-hole

Oh I forgot one of my favourite ones - I trimmed a Honda CRV in leather for Tamzin Outhwaite a few years back, just after she left Eastenders. She was waiting to collect the car while I was still reinstalling the seats so she came and had a look as I worked. I thought she was far nicer looking in real life than she appears on screen, and she was a genuinely lovely lady. She was over the moon with the leather trim too :-)
Haven't met this one but this afternoon, on behalf of a workmate, I posted a small package to Simon LeBon. He bought a part for a motorbike from my workmate on ebay.
Had a business lunch with Des Lynam and Chris Cowdrey.
Had a pint with Trigger out of Only Fools in the Shakespeare in Birmingham city centre when he wandered in one night. I couldn't remember his real name and called him Trigger at one point. He was very nice about it.
In a restaurant in Birmingham one night Peter Schmeichel and David Ginola were at the next table. Schmeichel sparked a fag at the end of his meal.
Spoke to Cerys Matthews at a Burns Supper. She's probably got over it by now.
Met various Rugby players when blagging RBS hospitality at Murrayfield. Scott Hastings, Andy Nicoll, Austin Healey.
I've just realised that at each of the above events, I was quite drunk.

Maybe him and Gary have a civil partnership?
Anyhow, to bulk up my previous lone tracey emin sighting I shall add that john major presented me with my iraq/afghanistan medals. Kind of lacks the wow factor I know but it's all I have.
I see a lot of footballers in the BA lounge at Manchester terminal 3... absolutely no idea who the majority of them are but my colleagues get quite excited sometimes.
Saw "Trisha" in a garden centre in Norwich once - she had a look on her face of "don't talk to me" the whole time she was in there! :)
Her daughter went to Langley school with my ex ;)
I met Murray Walker at a book signing. I was young and didnt understand the concept of a book signing so I picked up a book asked him to sign it then walked out without paying.
Nice bloke tho
