C'mon tae feck, let's go racing. Fed up people watching. I sincerely hope the "security alert " is just over caution (and who could blame them. )

Ope, here we go!....

Indeed my good man. Or even worse you could have paid £20 fecking quid for a grand stand ticket only to sit in the p1ssing rain waiting for something to happen. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

What a f**king waste of a trip to Ireland. **** wet through, skint, blisters on my feet, hungover.

And yes I also paid £20 for a grandstand ticket for the privalage of sitting on a fu**ing wet seat watching the thick end of f**k all happen while getting drenched to the bone.

The guiness was good and I finally got to go to Joeys bar though

Oh and some drunken bet the day before we set off means I now have lost my beloved beard and have these things on the side of my face.

As a Paddy, I'd like to say sorry on behalf of the 99.999% of NI people who think that the people who phoned in the bomb warning are a bunch of ar$eholes and don't represent the rest of us and hope that you come back next year!:):):)

Saw a few bikes heading for the boat today and felt a bit for the folk who forked out a fortune on boats and accomodation to see 5 laps of racing.:rolleyes:

Luckily didn't end up going, feel sorry for everyone who did expecially from the mainland, and obviously the marshalls as well. Roll on next year, the way things go with one year wet one year dry next year should be a scorcher haha

I second the first part of this. Good to see so many bikers over from across the pond.

I admit this year was poor. But 5 crap ones in a row will never outweigh a nw200 with fantastic weather and racing!!

Treacle
23-05-11, 06:53 PM
No need to say sorry Bedhead. I have been over to NI a few times now and I think everyone that I have meet over there have been nothing but fantastic. Yes it was a pain in the back side but it was just one of those things. And as Hanna has said one good one far outweighs 5 poop ones.

toby_smith
23-05-11, 08:15 PM
Don't apologise fellas. I didn't meet a single Irish person I didn't like this weekend!

To me I just find it a shame that this stuff still goes on. Like you said, a minority of a**eholes ruining everyone's fun and painting a bad picture of a majority of good people!

More than up for going back next year so I can actually see some racing!

I'm mightly peed off - I had an access all areas pass feel so cheated.!!

seriously though - the hospitality we had was great, proper mugs of tea (that was before I got my pass handed to me) homemade scones and cakes, burgers. The ladies of the house could not have been more welcoming.

My wet weather riding has improved so much too though not sure I ever want to be that wet again
Ferry got cancelled and came back Tuesday and riding in wind is fun:mrgreen:

Will I be back - more than likely though I'm not totally sure after listening to the back room fighting that been going on. Think I may just go to the Mid Antrim and Amoy racing in stead
