Well you've had your money's worth then :-P

I don't think anyone does this cover, you could look into the sort of breakdown and repair cover, but I reckon they'll have exclusions against all the consumable bits.

sounds like false economy! Unless it's extremely cheap - what are the chances of you getting a puncture? Then what are the chances of you getting a puncture that you can't repair. It can't be that great surely?
Do they even do it?

Just buy a puncture repair kit

Badluck man - in 5 years of riding I've only had one and I think it was there before I bought it!
*touch wood*

Were they in the sides or something so you couldn't plug them?

I'd just like to apologize about being skeptical of the frequency of tyre mishaps, two punctures in the same tyres since that post!

Serves you right

I haven't had a tyre go the full length yet, always to a bloddy big nail or summat. Last one on the Vrap went 8 miles....thank god for Avon guarantee 8)
Last SV one was for very interesting roundabout manouevres indeed :(

Do I win anything for getting 2 in 4 days? Pulled a screw out on Tuesday got the tyre plugged only to leave work on Friday with a shard of glass stuck there and a completely flat tyre. Getting avons fitted 2moz but Jesus these tyres are only 2 months old. Grrrrrrr

it did :(

Dan- yeah you win! I had an impressive screw the first time - plugged it, second one was a 3/4 of a stanley blade near the sidewall. Somehow managed to plug it (in the rain + dark) and nurse it to a tyre fitters!
