Ok folks, had a bash at fitting a chain for the first timelast night. All seemed to go well. Not sure what triumph were thinking withtheir hugger design tho !

Anyhow all plates pressed properly in line with the rest buti wasn’t 100% sure about rolling the rivet over. Ive done it as best i can as ididn’t want to squash the plate down any more. Does anyone have any tips onthis? It appears to be secure and free but i was just after a bit of guidancereally.

looks fine Andy from what I can see, the riveted bit merely holds the plate in place as it's the plate that takes all the strain, as long as the joint articulates freely and you fitted the seals and greased it up, you shouldn't have a problem, if in serious doubt just ask your local bike tyre place to have a quick look at it.

Cheers Mark.
