I have wired in LED's all round including forward facing winkers in the headlight cluster where the sidelight bulbs sit. I have blanked the lines that used to run to the sidelights and re-wired off the indicator line.

Everything works well but for two oddities that I'm not sure how to solve. I'm thinking it could be resistance in the circuit...

1) On the speedo console the turn signal bulbs are very faintly lit at all times. If I indicate either in one direction, both dash turn signals flash. The direction I'm indicating is brighter than the other direction, but both illuminate.

2) When I signal all LED's flash as required on the correct side of the bike, but the offside forward facing LED (in the headlight unit) flashes very lightly (barely noticeable).

Is this due to having less resistance in the circuit? Or have I buggered something up? Obviously I have removed the stock indicators and sidelight bulbs.

The flash rate is controlled by an aftermarket relay and is fine.

TIA

Try switching hazard warning switch on and off a few times. This is only thing i can think could send power to all indicators and at the same time.
Contamination in switch could be letting current flow when it should not.

Though doesn't explain why one corner is not performing.

Asume you have wired both front indicators in parallel (on each side) and youve got polarity of each right. Unlike bulbs they have to be in right way round.
Sorry i dont know your

Electrically disconnect each indicator in turn and see if fault is related to an individual LED cluster ( fault goes away). If found temporarily swap in a now known working Cluster to see if you have a dodgy cluster., or use diode tester on a multimeter if you have one.

Thanks ST - I checked the hazzard switch this morning.

It appeared to be in the off position, but in fact it wasn't quite all the way over. So a little squirt of WD and "Roberts your mothers brother"... sorted.
