I have wired in LED's all round including forward facing winkers in the headlight cluster where the sidelight bulbs sit. I have blanked the lines that used to run to the sidelights and re-wired off the indicator line.
Everything works well but for two oddities that I'm not sure how to solve. I'm thinking it could be resistance in the circuit...
1) On the speedo console the turn signal bulbs are very faintly lit at all times. If I indicate either in one direction, both dash turn signals flash. The direction I'm indicating is brighter than the other direction, but both illuminate.
2) When I signal all LED's flash as required on the correct side of the bike, but the offside forward facing LED (in the headlight unit) flashes very lightly (barely noticeable).
Is this due to having less resistance in the circuit? Or have I buggered something up? Obviously I have removed the stock indicators and sidelight bulbs.
The flash rate is controlled by an aftermarket relay and is fine.
TIA
