Hey all! I am not a happy bunny right now as a passer by found my bike on its side about 9am this morning! :smt013 About 2 to 3 paces away from where I left it, In gear and with the steering lock on!

I am putting it down to attempted theft as my friend saw my bike was still upright at about 3.30am when he left the party sober, as he was working the next day!

When I arrived after my work shift at 11.30pm, where ever I am I always check the kickstand is planted and solid, if this was the case it just slipped, it would have fallen into a soft hedge not 2 to 3 paces away onto the hard road!

Other reasons for this is when I picked the bike up, I wheeled it back into its original position, the steering lock was on! When I put the kickstand down it was right above the mark I made from planting it into the road last night!

Damage:

Clutch lever, gear shifter, air box (maybe)

Need some advice, a) On parts b) leaking oil from Air Box!

If theft was the case there really are some See you Next Tuesdays out there!

Cheers

The airbox is probably fine, but check the oil level as it's more than likely that some oil has made its way up the breather pipe and into the airbox when it was on its side. It'd be wise to clean the oil out of the airbox before starting the bike

Oil will prob be from breather as said before, shifter can be had for a few quid and those levers from china on eBay are good and very cheap
